U17 June Bevan & U17 Australasian Champs

Spare a thought for our three Central Region reps, Joseph Wilson, Thomas Lavendar and Ruawai Te Rata who have just flown out of PN heading to Perth. While we will be holidaying over Easter, these three will be in a hot stadium, 30 degrees or more, playing really tough games.

It is the culmination of intense trainings that have been ongoing since January. Everytime you see a player proudly wearing their JB shirts at tournaments all over the country, you know they've earned it.

The teams tournament otherwise known as the June Bevan Competition or JB for short, runs from April 3 to April 6 and our 3 Manawatu Juniors are representing the Central Regions area, then our Manawatu trio will contest the Australasian U17 Individual tournament which takes place from the 7th to the 10th of April.
